Patch Notes should be put up earlier

That's because code can still be pulled at this point. Logically patch notes don't make sense to make public until the patch goes live.

This thread has served it's purpose and won the battle. I win and I am glorious, so you should honor me Richard! These current patch notes is why I want to be able to see the notes ahead of time. Little fixes that have to be done but makes you get your hopes up because you know new content is just around the corner. Did I honestly think anything great would come from this patch? No, but I was being really hopeful something got tossed into this patch. At least I could have known earlier this morning or sometime prior and that this would be a disappointment patch.

They could post the patch notes (subject to change) earlier in the week or earlier the day of the release and without certain information that may have a bad effect on the game and/or effect the economy until the release patch notes come out. This was an idea that wouldn't hurt anyone and would benefit some if not all. Also a good portion of the fans would enjoy this and I even believe that the ones that is arguing against me would enjoy it as well.

@Molly, it may not makes sense to you but it makes perfect sense to me. The code is being implemented because it is at a finished state, tested on their own servers. There is no reason why other than just not wanting to do so that they can not or will not put up the patch notes. Will it kill me if it stays the same? No, but like I said it is just a suggestion of something I would like to see in the future.

World of Warcraft puts up their PTR (public test realm) patch notes, with the stipulation that they are subject to change when they hit the live servers.

The advantage is that it doesn't build unnecessary speculation and cause letdown. Which happens here. A lot.

Normally I would agree with this thread topic, but considering what they've been releasing with some of these patches...
