Logically, every MMO has a test server or how else would they test changes before pushing out the patches?

He means a public test forum, like a crapton of other games. <Removed due to Terms of Service Violation> but most people still realise that XIV is almost a decade behind with some of it's features. It's getting fixed and updated however.

Here's the thing.

When you say a "test server" you have to be specific, because it's common sense MMOs employ test servers. If you mean PLAYER test servers, you have to say as such. I guess this is why, despite living in an english country, many people still prefer their own language over English, since there seems to be a rule that you automatically "know" they mean something other than they say.

You honestly can't expect players that speak English alter their way of speaking just in case someone who can't grasp the language entirely might be about? That's pretty geocentric and I'm American. We know a little something about geocentricity.

When I worked in Tokyo-Roppongi Hills, we had to take mandatory language classes to learn Japanese. From my experience, the language is very linear when talking about a topic, deviation causes confusion. I think as English speakers, we are used to deviating, going off on tangeants during conversation, so we are accustomed to it. Maybe SE just needs more translators.

It seems people want things just to have them. All MMOs have internal test servers so opening a brand new server for the sake of "every other MMO has a public test server" is pretty pointless and a waste of resources when they have so much more to worry about.

Before you go jumping on people you can't assume everyone is native English speaking and know the nuances of the language, but as you say...
