    Padjal Quest Part I

Being that the Padjal exist few in number, but there are players who would like the Padjal as a playable race, both issues may be remedied by creating a quest that enables one to become a Padjal.

Following the White Mage lore, this Padjal quest can occur after the "Chorus of Cataclysm". The lore for this optional Padjal quest could explain how Padjal come into existence, by either changing whatever current race the player is during the quest into a Padjal or allowing the player to select a type of horns/antlers onto their current race. The change can done via Character Creation after the Padjal quest with a special item, just as most of us who used the Fantasia drink from the Rank 1 Veteran Rewards.

    Padjal Quest Part II

The quest can begin at Kan-E-Senna herself & during it, she can further explain that there exist many more Padjal than previously thought by other races. Furthermore, Kan-E-Senna can elaborate on how when most ascend to Padjal that most become more compelled in preserving the Hydaelyn itself, rather than the civilizations--who are often the cause of destruction, that inhabit it. While the story unfolds, Kan-E-Senna can open a portal to a secret, yet beautiful underground realm complete with its own sacred crystal which provides light for the realm. As the player is in awe, still astonished by the splendor of this amazing place, many Padjal gather where Kan-E-Senna opened her portal, & from this many a few can say to Kan-E-Senna, "Finally our sister's come home! Welcome back to The Feymarch Kan-E-Senna".

    Padjal Quest Part III

From there, players can explore Feymarch, attune to its crystal, buy items exclusive to Feymarch from merchants, etc. The quest can continue as Kan-E-Senna requests an audience with King Leviathan & Queen Asura on behalf of the player. The King can explain that the surface people are increasingly endangering Hydaelyn & they're considering exterminating them all. Queen Asura expresses she is pleased Kan-E-Senna has found someone willing to surrender their birth-race to directly intervene with the surface peoples as a more peaceful measure to King Leviathan's alternative.

King Leviathan & Queen Asura can then perform a "Ritual of Rebirth" (which ties in the whole A Realm Reborn theme), ending the quest in a brilliant light before returning them to the character page with the "Ritual of Rebirth" option present, like the Fantasia drink. When the player finishes the character changes & logs in, the brilliant light can coalesce into the player, displaying their new form in the cutscene.

    Padjal Quest Part IV

I believe this would take FFXIV ARR to an entirely new level of excellence & enrichment for players. This quest would be one any player can accomplish if willing to do all that is necessary to become a Padjal. Although simultaneously this optional quest prevents playable-race saturation because the path to Padjalhood is deeply augurous simply due to the fact only a select few enjoy healing as a role. If Padjalhood granted stats bonuses, it could be both Mind & Piety (not too high perhaps between 5 & 10 each), as we all know the weakness of White Mages lack of Mana Points.

    Thanks for listening
