FFXIV launcher not remembering my username

Since launch I have constantly told the launcher to save my username however if I am logged off for more than 4 hours it will prompt me to re-enter my username when launching. This happens every time there is a lapse of roughly 4 hours of being logged off. If on the other hand I log off and log back in within the roughly 4 hour time period my username is saved.
Being a little paranoid I am thinking that some unsavory folks are trying to access my account, thankfully I have a 15 character "STRONG" password established on my account. My username is completely different from my email account and absolutely not a part of my password. (I do not use the one time password as I read the reviews for the app on Play Store and refuse to install crap that many have said causes more issues than fixes)
My first question is, does anyone else experience this?
Second, does anyone have a idea or reason why this is happening, am I being paranoid?
Finally, any recommendations on how I can ensure that the launcher always remembers my username so that I won't have to re-enter it if I have been logged out for greater than 4 hours.

Are you clearing your browser cookies? (Specifically the ones Internet Explorer uses). From something that was bought up on another thread it looks like that entire login page is actually a web browser control (which is essentially Internet Explorer) so if you've got any sort of Internet privacy cleanup etc, that might explain why your username is being removed.

Worldofneil, that explains it! Thanks I didn't realize the launcher was a web app. I do have my internet delete all cookies, temp files, etc on closing. Thanks for the update.
