The scores can vary though, depending on how you run it. I can get a high score with my C2D and a 4870 512MB with the right settings--but in game it can only hold about 30-40 FPS in busy areas, and that's after I've trimmed the game settings down pretty low (all this is at 1920/1080, full screen). The GT630 scores just below a 4870 over at Passmark (729 vs 719). If you look at a comparison of the specs, you might see why--the GT630 is more of a budget card. Moving just a little up the chain to a GT640 moves it from 719 to 1288 in Passmark.

For the OP, make sure things are set to Application Control in the nVidia control panel too. Might need to go with Performance instead of Quality on the others. Since you aren't likely going to be hitting 60FPS in places where it matters, Triple Buffering and V-Synch may not be needed either (both in the driver and in games). Try running the game off of the Standard Laptop settings. That should knock out some settings likely stressing the rendering units and such on that card. May want to go ahead and trim it a little more though--disable Cascading Shadows, hide all shadows (self, others, etc.), and disable glare points. That should pick up a couple more FPS. After that, can test perceived differences between AA/Aniso/Trilinear and other things like grass quality if you feel you need to try to pick up another frame here or there.
