If anyone is interested in seeing how Titan runs over a vpn (no lag, and I don't have to start running earlier).

Do you have any video of how it was without the VPN, by any chance? Just to get an idea of the kind of improvement we are talking about.


I couldn't help but notice the dragoon who sometimes seemed to get out of AoE *after* the red marks disapeared, and didn't get hit.

PingZapper and Battleping both fix these issues, anyone who disagrees is naive.

The problem is, we shouldn't have to pay for VPN services... Square needs to fix their terrible net coding, period.

Yes, they do need to fix the issue. If you're willing to keep playing with the problem, and want to try a fix. This is an option. Battleping/full vpn/etc. They should all help.

I'll have to stream some primetime without VPN in DF or something to capture that.

As for the DRG, understand that my client has double the delay to see other players. They go to the server, and then down to me. So you'll never see other people moving correctly when there is erratic movement.
