2.1 and crystal tower

Hey all!. I have seen a lot of rumors floating around and I wanted to see if anyone had any viable info on this subject.

So 2.1 is the first major patch. We get housing, CT, UI upgrades, New gear, New primals, New harder primals for ifrit, garuda and titan. (pvp too) Dungeon hards etc.

My concern is that most of the people that I play with and see around have coil 1-4 on farm with the current gear that is out. With CT being a delayed to 2.1 does that mean that a big majority of people are just gonna pass up CT altogether?

I have heard it's gonna be hard, its gonna be nerfed, its only for gearing alts etc etc.

I guess will find out when they go over CT on the next letter this month but maybe I have missed something? What is going to drive the players into CT?

Im stoked, coil is cool but I just like experiencing different aspects of the game. I am finding it tough to gear my alts in anything but boring AK and DL gear so this will be perfect.

Only a small percentage of the population is even at coil, let alone beating it for the first time. So no most people won't bypass it. Heck I'm still working on my first 50 ( I play different classes alot, but now I'm sticking with DRG till the end!

I agree with this. Currently if your only focus is coil naturally you will pool all of your myth tomes to gear out 1 job for the most part, the thought of gearing out something else is pretty much non-existent.

When Crystal Tower hits I feel like it will give me much more incentive to try other roles knowing that my gear progression for them doesn't just end at Dark Light.
