cross skills for blm

I'm thinking of going for blm, just wondering what cross skills are needed. mainly eye for an eye because I'm not particularily interested in playing arcanist

You should become an arcanist, you will want Physick and if I remember correctly Virus is worth having as well.

Also archer has cross class skills, I have just gotten to 50 BLM and you want Raging strikes from archer for a 20% damage booster, also I have learned that I will have to level archer for Quelling Strikes, as it lowers aggro on you and I have read this is a must have skill.

That's the info I have collected so far, still learning like yourself but you at least want Physick, it is your only cure. (BLM cannot use conjurers cure spell, but THM can).

There is only one other ability BLM can use (Hawk's Eye) and it does absolutely nothing for them. BLM is one of a few jobs that doesn't really need to "choose"; the choice is already made.

The only thing you'll really *need* to level is Arc/Brd for Quelling Strikes.

You will need virus for turn 5, ideally you want 4 classes bringing that for softening death sentences every 30 seconds.
