Back up healers are a good thing when they are needed. If a summoner tries to play the full role of a healer, it leaves the actual healer with not much to heal, except either waiting for an opening to heal or do nothing and let him do all the work. However it also leaves a big gap in DPS causing slower kills.

Players can play how they want, just when you see things going slower, and wondering why it's taking awhile to kill mobs, that's why. :P

But that's just it... They weren't needed ;w;

If someone wants to jump in during a boss fight due to a tense situation or I die, that's fine. I just don't like it when they're coming in from the beginning like they own the place or something, lol. He got off the first heal and I have traits to increase my healing along with my pet's healing. What's up with that?

It's like the PLD guys that always want to cast protect in the beginning and I'm like, "nope" and cast mine over theirs

I felt like that when I was in halatali as a cnj with my friend as an acn.
When we got to the first boss, she wasn't even dealing with the adds. "oh but i was, my carby was on it".
Yeah, sure for the first add, after that he went straight back to attacking the boss. I had to completely drop heals to deal with it because nobody was.
The whole run was annoying because I just dps'd. I felt unneeded.

There's one room with a chest towards the end of Stone Vigil that has a ton of enemies in it. If I would have just let him handle it, everyone would have dropped like flies.

Between Rouse, Succor, and other abilities which I was only capable of at the time, we were able to survive that part. I know he was just trying to help, I get that, but it just kind of rubbed me the wrong way ;w;

Considering I only ever wear SB gear in DF groups, I don't feel anything haha. Even in a serious run like Coil, if I'm with another DRG I don't feel anything unless I die first. If they die first I can laugh.
