I heard they were adding a new race at some point

Has there been any hint what it might be? I saw it in another thread here a day or two ago (can't remember which one), someone said they were planning on releasing a new race when they released more jobs. I think adding the Padjal would be awesome. It's the only other human-like (not counting beast tribes) race I've seen that isn't available to us.

But people keep going around saying Viera race from FFXI. Not sure anymore than that.

They can't do Padjal. There aren't enough of them to justify the Padjal being a playable race.

Go back to Deve's Blog. They have posted Viera long time ago, but it is still not confirmed.

every race so far has been adapted from 11 so I'd say that expecting a lack of adaptation from previous setup is unlikely


I am kind of hoping for Gria myself though.
