I feel ya man, I'm glad there are players like you out there that makes others experiences so much better. I feel the comradery in MMORPG's seems to be extinct and I commend players like you. These days, most people if they don't get anything out of it, you're SOL for help.

It also helps if you think outside the box.

Going into Halatali in your AF and mass pulling 8-9 mobs at a time can be ridiculously fun, especially if you do it with people you have been having a great time with.

I play this with friends and got my relic last night, been playing for just under 3 weeks. The game is great when you know people.

Let`s see what have you done in 2-3 months...... 1 Lv 50 and a few -30lv oooo , you have still plenty of content to do . Old or new , does it matter ?

I can't imagine many people really enjoy FATE grinding another job to then go through the whole grind again at the end. I don't get it.

Running the same content over again - except this time with much less to do with no story or side quests - is not additional content.

We need those casual raids and PvP.

I've never played an mmo without PvP and really starting to get the itch. Trying not to go back to GW2 because I hate hopping but it's itchy..

This is why I have an long list of games in my Steam library to play at times when logging into FF14 isn't at the top of my list.

I found my greatest interest in the game was through crafting at the exclusion of everything else. I hit 50 in BLM, went to level Weaving and never looked back. I do the story quests only when my friends are on who are currently progressing through it.

Look I played WoW hardcore for years. I grew up and now I have a life outside of my pc. Did you consiter that ff14 was aiming for the crowd of people who dont spend 40+hours a week online?
I wasnt aware this game was 3 years old. Are we counting beta/alpha time as well? Look if you dont want to sub that's fine but dont sit here and cry on the forums go play another game. Or get a job. Or both!
Yes ff14 has room to grow, in fact it has a lot of room to grow, how about instead of writing a game off as a failure why dont you be pro active, petition for changes. WoW wasnt as well known and super popular till like WoLK expac as far as I know. Most people I know who played wow in it's beginning were high schoolers, now we're finishing college and starting families. In short, I have to go to work.

I struggled so hard healing in dungeons that i gave up on combat classes and just gathered to make myself some gil. After about a week of this i got tired of it and left to play wow again. Im having a blast leveling my mage up haha. But yes the graaphics and being able to level all classes on a single character were very big interest points for me as well. I tried sticking with it. but just couldnt do it.

That would be fun once or twice. The world is too small, dungeons are like mini games, combat is just spam. Bring back auto attack, and old school macros/abilities. Kick all these people from WoW out of here that requested this game be like the game they wanted, which was WoW.
