You're just offering generic answers, and I want concrete answers specifically pulled from ARR. I can understand the appeal of similar game mechanics - in fact, it is quite appealing for Batman: Arkham Origins. However, your statement on ARR's scenery should only have a minimal impact on gameplay honestly. Don't get me wrong, I love a game with stunning visuals, but even if the game were to have the best graphics, those graphics would be irrelevant if server lag was a constant nuisance (which it is on fights like Demon Wall). More than anything, it sounds like you just love the franchise, and really pull for it - which is commendable, I don't hold that in ill regard. You also like playing with friends - so do I. In fact, some of my favorite moments on MMOs were playing with friends... discovering new quests, zones, bosses with friends. In fact, I've played throughout my MMO career with co-workers and its always fun to go to work and talk about the fight. However, you are not addressing the inherent simplicity of the game both in boss mechanics, or in job mechanics.
