IS it just me... or is FFXIV boring?

Hey all,

I'm not writing this to troll, or to flame spray, but rather I am trying to see if what I am feeling about this game is what is also what is felt by the community at large.

Yes, the graphics are nice, and I like the idea that you can play any class from a single character - one of the points that drew me to the game in the first place. I also like how many of the dungeons are relatively short, there is rather minimal trash, and the boss fights can be fun and interesting some of the time. Perhaps one of the game's greatest assets is the FATE system, which was inspired by another MMO.

However, I find the game to be murderously boring.

It depends on the individual. If this game is "murderously boring" to you, then I would just find something else to play. I don't know about you, but I wouldn't sit around playing a game I don't have fun playing. The whole point of gaming is to have fun, is it not?
