More customization would be welcome.

To some extent they tried to do this with the cross-class skills, but there's no real choice there. Maybe they could rework the cross-class skill so you can make a real choice. (Maybe a stronger-than-usual version of 1 particular cross-class skill?)

Or a system that boosts one of your main class skills (e.g. choosing more powerful absorbs, or better regen for healers, or a cheaper emergency heal, or whatever, etc.)

There are a lot of possibilities and it needn't be cookie-cutter. It could even introduce new strategies for fights, or allow you to change your build to tailor a particular fight or team.

and it's bound to make PvP less predictable.
