How To: Maximize Your DPS as Dragoon

I'm not angry or anything pal, things have just become so absurd at this point that I can't help but put it in the simplest and easily understood way possible.

Faulty parsers can't prove anything but here's my proof of max dps (tm) using a faulty parser as evidence.

Here's the thing: You have ZERO hard evidence to back up the claim that your rotation is any better than another.

Further, you're missing the point of how to actually maximize DPS as a dragoon. Not only is this post title misleading, this is nothing more than even more circlejerking that belongs in the other thread.

One of the ways FFXIV-APP's displayed DPS is flawed becomes apparent when you apply a DoT attack (Chaos Thrust combo) and stop attacking (maybe due to downtime on a boss, mechanics, etc.) Try it on a dummy. Use your CT combo and move away and you will see your DPS drop drastically because the parser still counts the time in which your DoT ticks as you being on the target. If you reset, use your Full Thrust combo, and then move away you will notice your DPS doesn't drop at all. Even though you did more damage overall and over the course of 3 globals with the CT combo, the parser will display your DPS as being lower than if you had just used a FT combo. It's why I tend to value total damage done over DPS.
