    Creating a helping environment.

There is a lot of talk about elitism and how newbies can't get ahead due to spotty help.

I think if all instances, every newbie is given a bonus. For example, for any party that has a member who is less than 10 times clearing the particular content, the whole party get's a 20% bonus (stack-able per newbie) on all things. This way, experienced players will be less impatient on newbies, and are more willing to help. (I know there is already a new bonus, but it's nothing)

Once a content is cleared more than 10 times, the new comer becomes an experienced player, and for any new comer the experienced player has helped, the experienced player gain a special experience points that may grant access to special weapons, mounts, or armor to show that they have helped newbies.

This way, nobody will feel that helping newbies is a waste of time, and newbies do not have to feel inadequate when there is little to return the favor.

I would like to see a system like this. What do you think?

There's going to be a reputation system in 2.1 that allows players to +rep those who were helpful or pleasant when they finish an instance together. Supposedly there will be special rewards for us to spend this on so what you're asking for is basically already coming.

IMO another good fix for this would be to introduce a random DF queue that basically puts you into any instance in the game that other people are queuing for and gives you a special bonus reward for doing so. WoW and Rift both had this and it was very effective at ensuring there was always someone willing to run content with you if there was a specific (and otherwise less popular) instance you needed to run for one reason or another. The level sync system is perfect here as the random queue can literally cover everything... it would make those long queues for lower level instances a thing of the past.

If you're new to AK or WP, the whole party gets double the tomes! I'm sure nobody would leave then lol. Would certainly make me think, "oooh double this time eh? ok lets teach X how to get through this dungeon!"

I don't think that's the worst idea actually lol but how many people would go out of their way to run newbies not help them through the dungeon.

During this I came across an entirely new group to WP who's previous healer, (a filthy WHM lol) left after they wiped once on the Jelly Boss. They were a little down and thought I would just leave, but I decided to take 'em through and explain what does what. Queue a nice run, a nice chat, whos from where and what server etc.

It was like Dungeons in the old days, you know, how you met people, made friends and got invited to guilds. When dungeon groups were all same server that is. /sigh

Now its just join, look at grps HP, "lol bads/noobs" and leave with little consequence. I don't like it. >.<
