GE- With ARR we’ll see Arcanist added with Summoner shortly after the game launches. Are there any other classes or jobs you’d like to see added? And will these be added in patches or expansions?

For the classes and jobs, we will introduce them through patches because all of the Legacy players have level 50 jobs anyway. When we introduce new classes and jobs we will probably increase the level cap at the same time.

About what I want to introduce- it’s more like what I think I have to introduce. Something related to guns because the (musketeer) guild in the game. Something related to that I think I have to introduce.

To me, this is hinting at 2.1, but I can't say this with full confirmation. ( Live letter is this month, featuring New in-game content) So if it is in 2.1 it will be then we hear about it!

Ya I'm pretty sure they are not going to increase the level cap in 2.1 so very very unlikely.

Means they may or may not raise it (High Probability that it will happen). But vague is vague ( SE finest trait!) Besides, to some people this game is 3 years old and should get a cap raise sometime soon 2.1 or 2.2.

Because of all the legacy players having level 50 jobs. Which makes me believe, he wants to give Legacy players "leveling content" and not wait to expansions when they normally happen. ( Probably get more Jobs anyhow come expansion time)

Musketeer is already in the game prepared and all, just needs the NPC and quests that revolve around Musketeer.

And I do agree with you, that it should and probably will come in an expansion. It's just the thought he mentions in the interview that he will probably have classes/job and level cap raise come at the same time, and he said they will be coming out through patches. That's what kinda throws what I am saying out on the table and discuss about it.

I was more commenting on a level cap raise before an expansion. My point was level cap won't be happening in 2.1 or 2.2. Also we kind of know what will be in 2.1 if there's a new class anytime soon it'd definitely be in 2.2. Again, that's if it's happening anytime soon. :P

Sure things can change, but the quote is there and if "nothing" has changed since then, then it still holds merit. Besides it's the obvious anyhow. Legacy players " including myself" have a lot of level 50 Jobs ( I made a new character though). to those that have all 50's come into the game with only 1 class to level ( which is easy through story mode) then they have very little end game to do.

Personally, I think something like that hasn't changed "class wise", the level cap raise is a different story as that probably has changed.

No new job or class is hitting in 2.1, that's a pipe dream. If they do, it will be some kind of huge bombshell dropped at the last second (which will be awesome, but I'm keeping expectations low). One of the reasons i say this is because the level cap is, almost for sure, not going up in the patch.

I as well don't think 2.1 we will see Musketeer, but I would like Yoshi-P to give us an update on the progression on this class. The Arcanist and Musketeer class being said to be implemented are what lead me to purchase the game. So if they are not to add this class before the next expansion would be a disappointment.
