Hey SE, some interesting RMT behavior you should probably take note of

Question, is it possible to trade other players during instanced events? I mean, I don't see why it wouldn't be. Anyway, if it is possible, I think I discovered a group of RMTs using duty finder to trade gil across servers.

So I was crafting near a deliver moogle today. I saw 3 RMT bots that I have previously reported several times just standing there. All 3 would flash up the duty finder icon at the same time, and a few seconds later would poof into an instance. About 30 seconds later, they would reappear. They did this over and over and over again for about two hours while I crafted items to turn in for guildleves. Here's what I think is happening. They have a crapton of gil on my server that they want to sell to players on other servers. They get 3 guys on this server and one guy on another server all to queue up for an instance that nobody does anymore during off-peak hours, hand off the gil or items or whatever they're transferring over, and have the one guy leave instance first so that the 3 don't get the penalty, rinse and repeat.

My buddy was wearing a light pink robe when we entered Haukke Manor. I called him an eyesore and tried to trade him a dye and it wouldn't let me. So, no. Or, the game itself approves of pink.

30 seconds huh, sounds more like they doing guildhest to farm something, not sure which or what can be farmed though. Only did guildhest during beta and haven't touched it yet since launch so not sure if it's still same/different.

there's a number of chests in certain dungeons you can get to before any boss's. They could just be running through dungeons and grabbing chests then leaving. I'm not sure of anything specific, but I'm sure there's some aetherial gear you can get that way, and then put up on AH.

You are unable to trade during instances. Even if you pre-form a party and go in as a group all from your own server. Once you are in that's it. SE did this prevent items/gil from getting into other server economies.

As for your observation, without knowing what they are doing when they disappear, no clue. There are teleport hack/bot programs floating around that allow you to vanish from where you were standing and appear in a total different location. Other than that, I've got nothing.

Chances are they found some exploit or gimmick and abusing it, or they are picking a dungeon, running to the chest none-stop and repeating. if it's just taking 30 seconds. as i highly doubt anyone would actually play with RMT in a dungeon as they are easy to spot due to terrible playing. (other then names)

IF this is what they're doing maybe having the coins removed is a good option since gil drops have already been added to mobs, or limit the amount of gil obtained on the entire account from npcing per day

Removing coins would probably be the quickest fix that requires the least amount of programing I'd imagine
