A Helping Hand: New Player Friendly Section - Levelling, Story, Dungeons, Advice

Hey folks Glitch here, while playing FFXIV for a while I have personally noticed that is not so much of a go to place where people can lend each other a hand to help the people just starting.

As I played MMO's I have become a more laid back gamer that would prefer helping out a person newer to the game than completing the next new raid. I've just come to see it as I'll get there when I do.

I'm able to lend a hand to any lower levels that need it. However it would be awesome if there are others that share the same mindset that are willing to act as mentors for other servers.

Starting in FF maybe a bit daunting but it's always easier with a helping hand.

Help: Story dungeon, Levelling, Advice, Gearing etc.

I actually try to help others regardless of level in Leviathan when I can, though there are some things im still learning myself too. :3

Yep it's always good, but for me personally helping lowbies is more fun. Always fun to help others progress with story dungeons and stuff. Eventually it's all about the gear though. Wish the story could've been drop in and out just so I could help out more than just story dungeons.

Advice is always helpful no matter what level though.

My primary interest is in helping people grow, which means I will help you, but not hold your hand. Advice is happily given, and I love nothing more than a discussion on what path to take, or strategy to employ. However, I ask that you gather any materials if you want an item crafted, and pull your weight in a dungeon, mostly out of principle. I've had... bad experiences with people who abuse the help they receive.

Im not 100% sure but I think your story quest may be in dry bones where the Father of the church should advise you to go to North Shroud.
