Can't finish Immortal Flames Hunting Log Level 2...

OK so who's bright idea was it to put one of the tasks needed for the Immortal Flames hunting log as the stupid Myrmidon Princess boss in Cutters Cry? I have been running that stupid dungeon for DAYS now with numerous parties. NONE of which have been able to kill that damn thing. I started at level 39 and am now level 46 and am ready to leave the game completely over this..Its not fun, Square Enix, when you make it so difficult to complete you have to be a professional gamer just to play your game!
oh Im a white mage and everything in the room aggros on me (as in all your dungeons after level 30) The tanks cant keep aggro and the dps cant kill the ads fast enough.
I think I'm aggroing everything from the surrounding area of Thanalan that are running into Cutters Cry just to kill me..Suggestions? Anyone else having this issue? Anyone else want to slap the developers?

Just ran it YET again and of course I died before they killed it..which they did.. like the 3 times before.. and once I die I dont get credit for the dungeon.. I really hate this game now

the healer is supposed to kite the small adds because healer will always get their agro. I hate that boss too but id recommend getting some friends with high dps in there

I forgot what lvl BLMs sleep becomes aoe, or if they can even be slept. might work

BLM Sleep becomes AoE at 36, so they have it by that point.

Keep Stoneskin on yourself and do not use Regen on anyone but the tank. When the adds pop run to the side of the Princess, near the tank (she only has front conal AoEs) so that he can Flash and get them off of you quickly. Everyone should rush the adds, including the tank who should have more than enough hate on the Princess. They die very quickly.

I'm a SCH and the best thing I found I could do was purposefully aggro the adds and then kite them. 2 waves of adds and the rest of the group should be able to kill the boss.

As a whitemage I would suggest using regen on yourself right before the adds spawns and also keep ya stoneskin up. Also if you are running with a blm in party try having him aoe sleep. Or if not, try sleeping them yourself.... instead of kiting. Less hitting you the better....

As far as kiting, i would say use regen on the tank and then 'sprint'ing around the egde of the area... still close though in case you need to toss a cure 2 to the tank.

Or have the DD limit break (they normally dont or dont know how 2.) Will make it alot faster.

Only remembered I went 1/1 on SCH when I leveled it. Only did it once so don't recall it much.
But if the princess gets you down, I can't imagine what will happen after you hit 50 and starts doing Titan. You might pop a blood vessel if you don't relax.

I finally got it..It was easy once I just kited the ads around the room till they killed the boss but I literally ran that dungeon 12 times before I found a group that knew how to do it. The online guides were completely wrong and recommended everyone hit the ads and kill them quickly which did not work.. just the opposite no one touch the ads dont use and aoe and the group kill the boss while the ads chase the healer around the room.

I used to hate Cutter's Cry only because of the first boss. When I first started running it as a tank, I wanted to try and grab all the adds - but that usually just resulted in me dying or just continuously chasing around the healer trying to collect all the adds that keep coming. So then I started trying to convince DF healers to just kite all the adds - which only worked sometimes if you got a WHM as healer, and one that could at least figure out how to throw some regens while running... but at least it worked sometimes. After awhile I figured out the easiest thing to do on that fight as a paladin is to spam cure on yourself whenever adds start showing up and then just spam flash as needed - the healer can just help kill the Marshal and then the Princess faster.

I have to admit the healer-kite technique is pretty amusing to watch: the only time I can think of as tank where I could kick back and watch a huge, angry swarm of monsters chase the healer around and around in a big circle and not have to feel bad about it.
