Neither Sky nor Sea was in that video...Not an idea but because some mentioned XI just wanted to show off what people are talking about, not my video.
A Train Graveyard wouldn't make sense because Ul'dah's railway hasn't been decommissioned - it's literally brand new and has only just been opened (it didn't exist pre-Calamity). Speaking to a npc at Black Brush Station says that the railway is used for ore haulage from the mines, not passengers, and 'if you're patient, you can often see a train traveling past'. But of course, no train ever shows up.
It's just a case of not having been implemented in the game yet (I can actually see Ul'dah's railway being used for players in the same way Limsa and Gridania have boats allowing access to and from the city to other zones. Or at least, that's just an idea I though of.
I would love to see a dimension dedicated to the Aether - the world beyond our own that the Primals exist normally. A place where different sections of the world map are dedicated to the different Primals and their elements. Go to their domain, infiltrate their keeps, take down their minions and take the Primals at their full potential.
I had seen in a past interview where Yoshi said something about a place called Eureka being accessible via the Crystal Tower at a later date. If Eureka turns out to be this sort of realm, that'd be great.
Better yet, I want the trains to be running and if you get hit by one you go flying through the air some distance and get knocked down to 5% HP.
The only new zone I want is a more 'alive' zone. I mean look at Northern Thal. At the time the player gets there it is meant to be a battleground, heck a part of it is even named after the Ul'dah General guy leading the offensive. Yet the NPCs, both guards and 'garls' alike, are just milling aimlessly about in these areas and don't even fight one another. Same with the Primals. We are constantly told what threat they pose to their respective areas, and yet we see nothing of it. Get them interacting with the environment too. Either by appearing to wreck some havoc only to vanish back to their den which you get to fight them in as per the DF.
Maybe I'm yearning for a more GW2 approach, however grindy that game was, it did feel as though stuff was 'happening' in the zones it is meant to happen in. I loved the high level zones where you are pitted against the forces of the Undead Dragon. You couldn't swing a cat in those areas without being set on by some undead monstrosity or five, and everywhere you go there were signs of the NPC offensive you are supporting fighting back.

I want the zones that the wandering minstrel mentioned in 1.0 back when the goobbue mounts were being given away. I forget the names, but I remember ppl wanting to see them as zones.

Western Cortheas is currently blocked off by a great wall of ice, but if adventurers could find a way past, I bet we'd see a Glacier or high mountain zone to explore
I have a hunch that the area will be home to certain Primal of Ice...
Also the Beastmen homelands would be awesome to explore, especially the grassland of Paglth'an and Dravania home of the dragons.
We also have the surrounding Islands to see, Mazlava, Theueari and The Cieldalaes.
The world is Eorzea is so massive and has so much potential to it. ><
I would love to have a Valkurm Dunes zone, although hell why not make it a dungeon with boss fights like bogy and valkurm emperor.
Agrius the Garlean mothership that crashed in Mor Dhona. Make it a explorable place and have it be a major point as part of the Main Storyline. A very large part of the Agrius still remains in tack so it would be a good explorable place with each zones set by levels rather than regions like land since we are going up towards the top part of the Agrius.
We get to discover hidden secrets that the Garlean has hidden in Agrius and learn why the Agrius was powerful (not just because it was ***** big and had a lot of guns) and we may discover a power "wepaon" prototype hidden in the remains of Agrius the Garlean never had the chance to deploy because the Agrius was destroyed.
Of course the Garleans will most likely try to salvage the secrets the Agrius has hidden as well as part of the Main Storyline but to learn more about the Garlean Empire is going to be interesting.

There's that archaeological dig south of Buscaron's Druthers... it used to be a Duskwright city? Open that up. I'd love to see how my ancestors lived!
