    Got an idea for a new Zone? Post here!

    Personally, my idea would be a level 50 area dedicated to fates
    and difficult quests.

    Now personally I did not play FF11, but I know a little about it.
    I would like to see this zone pretty much be group enforced.
    As far as the landscape? I'm not really sure,
    but something simmiliar to Mor Dhona's Landscape would work.

    Thoughts? Suggestions? Discuss!

    I would like something like FF XI's "Sea" something that looks and feels completely out of this world. And be wider then the zones we currently have. With multiple routes to get around. And dangerous and like OP suggest. Not necessarily group enforced but just so I don't feel I can chocobo past everything without worry.

    I want a very long, difficult, semi-open world subterranean dungeon that you have to beat to open up a new continent (Garlemald!!) that is maybe... half as big as all of Eorzea combined now.

    Beast tribe's stronholds being instanced raids, where at the end they summon their Primal to stop you.

    Which one you do would be rotated, for example, this week is the Sylph's Ramuh, next week the Sahagin's Leviathan, and so on...

    Considering how the Primals are a constant threat to Eorzea, I think this system could serve that idea well.

    I have a simple Idea for a Zone.

    Open World PvP. make it GC vs GC vs GC
    Though only in this 1 zone. ;-)

    Not sure why but I always loved Bibiki Bay, tropical island feel to it.

    That or a real Desert that's larger than a child sandbox.

    We'll there's gates in Gridania that are unused, like I think one is the White Wolf Gate. Open these up. Seen as All the areas around Gridania are the shroud areas and already open maybe one of the gates can lead under Gridania and maybe be a vast underground dungeon type area, not instanced, and I suppose these can lead anywhere.

    Actually if they just remade Sky in HD I wouldn't be mad about it, have it be like fallen and crashed into the Ocean off La-Noscea or somewhere, like it came from "the void" or something... it would really be a 1up to all the ex-XI players out there and it's an awesome zone. But yea, Sky or Sea or have the Shantotto FATE temporarily warp us to Windurst or Sarutabaruta (even though I don't care much for Saruta, lol) yea its nostalgia, but XI WAS amazing at times, so its NOT complete nostalgia.

    Gridania's White Wolf Gate is actually already accessible, you just have to complete a quick and easy quest from one of the guards near the aetheryte at level 29 - it just allows you access through it from New Gridania to the Central Shroud (specifically the area around Sorrel Haven north of the Matron's Lethe). But you're right that there are some other closed/unused gates in the city at this time (like the one into Lily Hills which was also closed off in 1.0 as well, and the mysterious one next to the LNC's Guild).

    The trouble is though, the reason why the only zones around Gridania are forest areas because the city itself is a forest - it's called a 'forest nation' for a reason. And on that note, I hope SE will eventually add the missing portion of the Black Shroud - the West Shroud, that was in 1.0. I'd also like to see the missing sections of Coerthas added as well (like Owl's Nest) and the missing southern half of Mor Dhona. Once these missing areas from 1.0 are restored, then it would be appropriate to add new areas we haven't been to yet.
