Character Switching and Transfer

I started my first character on Kujata now a level 36 Gladiator, with Marauder and Conjurer and Arcanist, Miner and Fisher classes going well too. Then i started a simi8lar character, same character name, on Leviathan, as i had a friend there I hoped to play with, well that character is only level 20, and she was recruited by a nice Free Company that i would like to stay with. Is it possible to move the elder sister over to Leviathan? I imagine i would have to delete that second character as the names are the same......any advice on this? just hoped to get some feedback before risking losing both in a messed up transfer...

and how does transfer work? i havent seen any specifics on how to do it....I believe there is a charge that is deleted from our account in Crysta..i have enough in my account to cover any thing reaosnable and also that the character being moved is unavailable for play for some specific time...hopefully not too long...a day?

can anyone advise on this? thanks.

Not sure. I've been trying to transfer for a few days but something is wrong and I've done everything it says you need to do. As far as I know you will have to change names if someone has the same name. I think you can only carry a certain amount of gil over as well. The good part is that I heard once you have purchased it it only takes maybe a few minutes but I could be wrong about that. Good luck, I'm still trying to figure it out myself.

it went very smoothly , just choose Character Transfer under Optional Services and it took about 15 minutes. I still have to decide on the name change, i may try to see if Support can advise me..i may try to delete the existing character on this new world that all are on now, and then use the older higher level version. dont know if that will work yet, will post to help others if so.
