Perfect way to describe it. With all the spots on the map that you cant walk through like a puddle, or go across the small stream and being forced to go find a bridge. It feels like a hallway with a open map illusion.

I've been thinking... What if we could swim? It wouldn't be a complete solution, but it'd be a great step forward. How much larger might the world become if we were just able to swim?

Also, while I'm on this train of thought, boats should move. You know, like in WoW. Instead of just teleporting you from port to port, boats should move until they hit the loading screen, then come out on the other end and continue moving to the new port. Yes? No?
