Upgrading Editions

I am sorry if this is in the wrong place, but I cant seem to get a response from tech support.

I bought the basic online digital edition, and now want to buy the physical collectors edition. I know there's an upgrade option for the digital edition but can I still upgrade my account with a physical copy of the collectors edition?

99% sure you can just grab the code from the CE and apply it to your current service account, thiss will give you all the CE content and an extra months playtime.

No sorry, but you can't. That worked for 1.0 (where the collector in game items had their own physical code), but with 2.0 the only code you get in the box is for a new service account only which then comes with the items.

If you want to upgrade to collectors on your existing account, you need to use the digital upgrade.
