First world problems, it's going to happen to someone.
It's the same for me. I am frustrated, and wish there was a solution, or even a mini-game during downtime. But, Sinax is right first world problems.![]()
What's interesting is, all the servers maintenance time announced are in GMT, yet when in game, the Server Time is always one hour later than the GMT. So what is the Server Time timezoned to?
Daylight Saving Time
It makes me so sad. I am so hard done by with all my first world problems.
In all seriousness though, I would really prefer if the maintenance began at 5AM instead of 12AM, that HAS to be probably the time with the lowest active population. Even if it was down in the morning, I can have my coffee and watch the news and etc. but when I am staying up late or I just finally have the chance to be alone with roommates and my boyfriend go to bed before me? All I can do is watch awful late night television or whine on forums like these! :P
SleepingCetra probably has the most constructive argument I've seen tonight thus far.
Maintenance is way too frequent in this game. Three times in one week!? I read a post by a SWTOR dev once which talked about the standard by which they judge if servers should be brought down in an "emergent" situation. If that standard were applied by these devs, this game would not have been ready to release by a long shot. They need to relax and push most, if not all, of these issues to the next regularly scheduled maintenance. I love this game, but I have a weird schedule. I'm tired of planning on logging a couple of hours only to find yet another "emergency" outage prevents me from doing so. Regrettably close to unsubbing if this doesn't get limited to once per week.
