I'm aware that changing the role in the middle of a dungeon might cause problems in the group structure, especially when it's a Duty Finder group where coordination is quite unpredictable.

What should be implemented though is the option to change the class as long you are staying in the same role (ergo WHM ---> SCH, PLD ---> WAR, SMN ---> BLM etc.) as this allows the group to adjust their setup in some way.

Naturally this can only be done outside of battles and only when your class of choice meets a certain requirement (level or ilvl for example). It would also be great to allow a class change to a crafting class in order to repair broken equipment.
