Acolyte's Robe drop

Actually, I've completed all but one 'Party in Progress', and the party's have never been bad, either. Hell, two DF groups I joined last night ended up three-manning Tam-Tara with two DPS and a healer. One of those times the Mitts did drop...but the Archer beat me by a roll of 60.

I saw the Mitts drop again today in Copperbell, though I lost to a Lancer who rolled freakin' 99. You'd think after 30 runs I'd have a bit better luck with Need Rolls, but whatever. Oh, and I saw the Acolyte's Robe drop in all three dungeons last night.

Can we exchange drop rates? XD
I want Acolyte, I drop lots of Foestriker, you want Foestriker, you drop lots of Acolyte. Wtf lol
Oh well, I'll try and join parties in progress then. Btw, once I had to do Haukke from the start to the end with 3 dps, because we made a group on FC and we didn't realize we didn't have any tank XD

It dropped from the Sahagin boss for me the other night in Sastasha. I'd trade it for the Battlemage in an instant, because I've only seen that stupid robe drop one time... I rolled a 3.

Acolyte and Battlemage are the two cursed robes for me... had them in the beta, now I have full Acolyte and Battlemage set, but no robes.
Never even seen one of them drop in release.

Well, another day, another six runs and no Foestriker's Mitts. However! I've seen every other piece of rare armor drop once but the Foestriker's Tabard and Mitts. That means that, with luck, I should actually get one today!

Oh, and I saw an Acolyte's Robe drop in Tam-Tara. Nobody rolled on it, so it vanished into thin air =(

Oh, bloody hells! I finally got that cursed robe that now I don't need anymore, I have WHM lv50, BLM lv30 and ACN lv21 XD
But, yeah! Got it! After 100+ runs XD
Dropped from last boss in Sastasha, I was ARC, I left an aetherial robe to the CNJ and got the Acolyte that is weaker but awesome

Congrats! Hunting for items can be a real pain sometimes, but it's always a great feeling when you or someone else finally gets what they've been looking for. So, good on ya! =D

Finally got my Foestriker's Mitts! Ended up joining a lone THM in Tam-Tara who was at the very end of the dungeon. We killed a few of the remaining guards before a GLD joined us, then took on Octavel. We got through his fight without any issues, but halfway through the Mindflayer fight our GLD disconnected and the THM and I had to deal with the boss and its adds. I've gotta give credit to him: he was damn good at sleeping the adds and healing me until the GLD got back on. A CNJ joined us at the very end of the fight, but we finished off the final boss without their help.

I couldn't ask for a better way to earn 'em, either: helping out two new players =P
