I'm watching the typical under-the-ground position hacker/botter going from tree to tree, but every swing, i hear multiple hits and then the equip being put away. After that one attempt, it teleports to the next spot.

I've always known about the position hacks and such, but never really thought you could bypass the actual interaction system so... easily.

What you're hearing is multiple bots striking once at the same time. Its most likely that bot script was set up to only mine once then move to the next one with its little pack.

It's not an RMT hack, it's a hack they use but hack developed for use by legit players, there's a whole forum dedicated to passing out hacks for XI/XiV lol. What you heard OP was definitely not a hack just multiple scripted hits at once, especially if you use a sound system better than mono/stereo.
