You are aware they nerf things to make sure newer people can catch up to old people, right? So if you really are one of those slowpokes, you should rather be happy that when they nerf it you'll be catching up faster, instead of later notice you are still on patch 2.1 when everyone else is doing 2.8 content.

it's been said to begin with that BCoB was tuned to be very hard at the beginning but will eventually get easier as the game progresses.
it's also clear that it will get toned down even further once higher turns come out, untill players can progress far enough to have the proper equipment to easily beat older content.
just like people shout for Relic & full DL players for lolAK.
it's the way this game is heading, it's an ugly way, but at the same time can't be avoided.
was stupid to make main lore content that hard to begin with, should have rather worked on something else like crystal tower to be the main high endgame content.
If BG hadn't cleared it, everyone would be rejoicing that they finally fixed the encounter.
No need to get upset that you weren't good enough to clear it.

When it comes to people tripping over SE making content more accessible, I'm like a high school honors teacher: I've got no F's to give.
People whose egos are that easily bruised because other people will soon be able to complete the content we have now (those Titan HM adjustments can't come quickly enough, if you ask me) really should take a look in the mirror and ask themselves what makes this game so important to their sense of self that they don't want anyone else to do what they've done successfully.

Exactly! It should be hard enough to keep you busy, but not so ridiculous that only 1% of the players can finish it (if and only) if they are in an amalgamated soup of elite players. Should DF people clear the content so easily? Probably not. I am not complaining at all about having been in Titan HM 100 times and only barely getting to 5th phase 5% of the time. I also know that if I found a competent group, I should be able to down any of the content given enough practice. When it comes to people tripping over SE making content more accessible, I'm like a high school honors teacher: I've got no F's to give.

That having been said, I have yet to see any boss that is hard because the strategy is hard to develop. Most of them are pattern-based. Memorize and execute the pattern, and you'd win. How about if we're going to make the content hard, let's do just that:
HM Titan (as my only example since I haven't seen anything else yet) would do any of his abilities any time he wanted and in no particular order. He could have abilities which reset the CD so that he could effectively spam something like tumult 2-3x in a row, and the only way to survive is if everyone has a self-heal and potions. Let's make that happen, but make it so that the only reward players get for completing it is the knowledge that they completed it. Not as a requirement. I never look at a player with a special title/gear/mount, look it up and see it comes from some part of the game on super hard ultra nuclear mode and think "Man, I really want to be like that guy. He is amazing!"
Accomplishments in a game are--for most people--about as useful as playing fantasy football and winning. Except, with fantasy football, you can at least win some real money. So, there is that, I guess.

Better a nerf bat than an iron hammer.

How many people complaining of this "Nerf" have downed twintania? Oh wait, the vast majority of the people complaining in this thread about the nerf haven't even done coil, let alone twintania. as I said, its a bugfix. Twisters were borked, period, even bg had multiple deaths to them on their kill. The mechanic was too damn picky and server lag just amplified it to an unreasonable level. Even making a C shape you'd survive like 80%.
Its hard to believe people who aren't even 50 yet can cry about "nerfs" they have no context on.
Thanks for making twisters reasonable, from a player who has done them both pre and post hotfix. Btw the fights still PLENTY difficult.

And now if only they could boil down the awesomeness of Blue Garter and sell it as the essence of power, self-importance, and pride... It would really rock the marketplace.
