    This character does not meet the requirements for World transfer.

    I'm trying to transfer my character, but I keep getting this error. Grrr...why?


    You must possess an active service account for FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn.
    Yes. I originally subscribed for an entry account, but then the game automatically locks out every character except the one at the top of the list. The character I want to transfer is second on my list, so I payed 2euro extra for a standard account. Now all characters are unlocked, but I still can't transfer. I shouldn't have to do this anyway FFS.

    You must be logged out of the game.
    Yes.

    Your character cannot be enlisted in a free company, holding a free company petition, or signed to a free company petition.
    Yes. Never done anything related to FCs.

    Your character cannot have items for sale on the market.
    Yes. Never ever sold anything.

    Your character cannot have items entrusted to the Calamity Salvager NPC.
    Yes. I haven't even talked to this guy.

    Your character must rehire any retainers carried over from Version 1.0.
    Yes. I'm not legacy.

    Your character must be logged out outside of any instanced areas.
    Yes. I am in a town.

    The character you wish to transfer must be at least three days old.
    Yes. More than 1 month.

    Your service account cannot be suspended due to a violation of Terms of Service or a hold on the account.
    Yes. I am not suspended or banned.

    I am trying to go from Gilgamesh to Tonberry. Non-legacy to Non-legacy.

    Ok, 1 hour later it lets me transfer. I guess there's just a delay.

    Thank you for your posts concerning this issue Killion. It appears that this issue has been resolved; as such I'm going to close this thread. If this does continue to be a concern, please create another thread to further try to discuss resolutions or contact the Support Center at support.na.square-enix.com for assistance. Also, please state the steps you have attempted to resolve this issue.
