Other online games and features you would like see in final fantasy 14?

Ok hopefully this thread is ok and wont stire up too many why this game is better than this or ff14 is terrible topics.

Just want first say im enjoying final fantasy 14 and wait for the changes to see what direction it will take.

This week i tried out world of warcraft trial for a day and learnt some intresting stuff from it.
I tried wow a few years back so came back see how it changed.
First up it did not want make me want to stay playing it but it did have some intresting features which impressed me, the first of which was its patching system.

The way it patches big updates say you need download 7 gb of data , once you get to a certain point the game is playable and it countinues to download data while you are playing the game.
Maybe this is something ff14 can add in future , or even ff11 could use?

Its quest system , seems ff14 is already using some the features and will have hubs.
One quest i did the story linked together , i hated the blandness of it but again if ff14 did this with the great stuff fff11 did for quests it could be intresting, quests linking into each other.

They use flying mounts in wow , maybe it could be added to ff14 with gold chocobo.
Ok they have jump as well but lol , jump could come to ff14.

One other thing wow does as good as final fantasy online games do , is opening cutscenes and they add new ones based on the events of the world.
I really hope final fantasy 14 gets a new one when a big update comes out because the first one for final fantasy 14 is one best cutscenes in a game i have ever seen.

Good to read in latest update ff14 will get achieviement system , i just hope its not too mundane , i played xbox 360 achievement games and they are worst achievements ever , ff11 has the hardest or longest time consuming list, im amazed i got about 30- 50 % of them.
Its also good if we can track achievement progress , kinda like how gears of wars 2 tracks it.

Ok so idea of this thread is what have you learnt from other games and would love to see in final fantasy 14 , this is me and my wow experience and hopefully some people have others , ive not played rift and dont know what they doing but it one mentioned alot.

Just one thing i could hope for the game is that it learns not only from other online games but from single player games or online stuff like call of duty or heavy rain.

Sorry if this topic is a bit long winded, i guess i really want play a good online final fantasy game and it is the series i follow with the most passion in gaming so good luck to you the online team.

I really liked the reskinning of armor and weapons in Aion.

If I could be a Lancer in the Onion set... I'd look silly, but still it would be fun to pick and choose how I look while keeping stats to do my job well.

I like Mabinogies music system that allowed players to write their own music and as you gain skill in it allow you to add effects. Imagine having str boost while listening to Zelda OOT broleo of fire? or having a hp regain hearing bon jovis living on a prayer (or w/e the title)

I agre with thwe gear morphing like in Aion but expand it, and make it more accessable to anyone (aka not at lvl 20 and not coasting over a mil gil)
