[Blackmage] About Race... (Ingame Racism?)

heyho everybody

First i apologies if this kind of thread already exists, i didn't find anything with SF (at least first few sites)

so my situation is:
You guys all know, or are maybe one of them - Those who rage quit before even trying Titan HM because someone got low gear/low HP.
I gained a bit more then 100 HP for exchanging 3 armor pieces of WP with DL.
Today tho, i met someone with almost the same, Armor, only 2 Rings are different, while I do have AF rings, he has 2 49 rings.
Is it really the race, that makes almost 200 HP difference? As you can see, the mana is exactly the same.


I notices i gain 13.5-14.5 HP/VIT,is it because it scales with my basic stats of the race? Is it really "pleay X race cuz others can't do A B and C only D" ?
Please teach me how it works

Well considering the stats for each race are significantly different I would have to say yes. Did you check there stats on the Lodestone > Community > Character and do your search. That should give you more insight into how you stack up against them as far as stat points go. I would have taken a look but you blanked out the character name for privacy reasons.

Racial stats have almost no significance at this level, he just put some bonus points in vitality while you put them in intelligence.

so if i restat and put 10 to kon, i should have the same hp?

Yes, but putting bonus points into anything but INT isn't advisable. If you're worried about HP then any of the lv46-49 foods give +15 VIT (works out to just over 200 HP) and they're easy to HQ.

So is it worth it to buy this buff food, or should i rather buy a vanya robe or something to upgrade my gear then? x.x im not that rich XD

I'm actually going to switch from Roe to Lala because you can get 251 PIE with just the SCH group bonus as a Lala, but you need food or materia as a Roegadyn.

Focus on getting your DL chest piece, thats all you really need.
