Spot the Bot user!!

I made a post the other day about bots flooding the market with stuff and how "Normal" playing people were finding it hard work to compete on the ah.
1 person said "You don't know its a bot just because he has a lot of mats on the ah"

Well just look at the crystal market on my server (Moogle)
1 guy has 10 1k stacks of crystals. So he farmed up 10k crystals sat at his pc before putting them on the ah.....yea right....now tell me you cant spot a bot user

Theres some peeps selling many stacks of 1k crystals on my server too, 30 to 35k a stack. I spent a couple of hours and gathered up 1k, put 2 stacks of 500 up for 15k each and it sold within a few minutes. Watching the freeking bots teleport around right in front of my face burns my hyde like I don't know what but hey, it didn't stop me from making gil. All we can do is report them and from what I've heard if you report them at least twice theres a good chance it will be dealt with. One thing I do is to not buy anything from people selling more than 5 stacks of anything, I'll pay a little more if I see one person selling one stack of an odd number of stuff cause I know it's a player. /shrug

Nah reporting don't seem to do much. Ive reported this same guy over and over, plus a few members from my FC came and watched him teleport then they all reported him, and hes still there teleporting from node to node and we all reported him 4 days ago.

These two retainers had over 45,000 shards between them and were undercutting the rest of the market by 13 gil (30%). You ain't making profit off that, nor are you ever going to buy up that many shards.

There is a guy who never leaves Bentbranch, on Malboro. Ever. I've personally checked nearly every time I've logged on, and observed him running the same path over and over. He's a level 41 Botanist now, still wearing the same level 1 gear. It seems that unless they actually use teleporting hacks, reporting them doesn't do anything.
