Multiple character login under one service account

During the Beta tests, we were able to log into multiple characters at once under one service account. I was able to log into my alternate character on the same server with both being logged in at the same time and moving around.

We can't do this anymore for free as I understand but this FAQ Article makes it seem like we just need to purchase another copy of the game and register the code.

Now I have a second service account, which doesn't reflect my legacy status, that I'll have to pay the full amount on. I still can't log into multiple characters on one service account. I can only log onto multiple characters that are on different services accounts at once which provides me no benefit other than having two service accounts under one square enix id.

The FAQ Article is not clear, the feature had been turned off for launch and I just want to dual box a couple characters that I already have. Please turn this feature back on.

SE is very bad at wording stuff I had a little spat with them over the way they wording stuff and all they said was "sorry" (not about this though) but I do have both PS3 and PC reg codes but can only play one character at a time, regardless of what server or system they are on.

I was concidering buying another game just to have a mule for stuff. I can't believe if you own two games that you cannot log both on in separate windows. Maybe you have to create a new service account to put the extra game on? Being able to do it like you said, on one account, would be great. The only way I've been able to do that in other mmo's is with two different email accounts.

you can do two seperate service accounts under one square enix account, but i was under the impression we would be able to use characters from a single service account to log on as many times as we had registration codes.

It seems that there have not been any further posts about this concern being an ongoing issue. Because of this, we are considering it to be resolved.
