Brand of Lightning question

I'm not sure buddy, I went ahead and start making a Vintage half apron which the affinity is lightning, yet the brand of lightning skill would still give me a regular 48 in progress which is similar to when i decided to try it on undyed linen cloth, unless the aspected crafts reduce all craftsmanship skills but brand of lightning just becomes normalised with it's multiplier

Aspected recipes cut your normal progress skills in half; using the correct brand skill allows you to get normal progress on them.
