DD here and I'm progressing just fine via Dungeons/Levequests/Hunting Logs etc ( Also if you prefer FATEs that that's an option too). Also Getting a party together and grinding away is a viable option as well getting 350-400 a kill at level 34 and the mobs day solo within 10 secs, in a party they will die in probably 3-4 secs. ( Also you get a linking bonus if you get additional mobs.)

Plenty of ways to level up besides Dungeons. As for the story issue, Make some friends, get into a FC ( Free Company) and ask for help <------ Best way to progress personally.

I'm not really worried about the leveling up part, its the dungeon que system,,,i could grind all day and fate and level up, but i just want to get through the story, and the dungeons ques pause everything. Maybe its my server, Not sure.
