I had the limit at 30, yes.Positional checks every 0.3 seconds is not "some shit people came up with" but a dev confirmed thing. It was 0.4 before they lowered it to what it is now in beta. Also, taking an FPS limiter off should have no logical reason to help with the problem in question, and it also shouldn't randomly raise your FPS to 50+ if it wasn't there already. Or did you have the limit at 30?
It should have no logical reason, i know that, but it has.
And i'm not saying the o.3 delay is not there, but it is not the problem.
.
You're imagining things. All that's happened is your fps has increased (as it was previously limited at 30) and made it easier to move.
The positional .3 delay is still very much an issue.
No, no i'm not imagining things. I'm absolutly sure about that.
The difference is like night and day.
It was impossible for me to do Titan HM.
Now i can dodge every plume and landslide. Mostly i'm the last cat standing.
Others had the same experience.
.
You can dodge now because your fps has increased and the game is smoother.
That is all.

I know what you are saying but what you are noticing is that the game is loading abilities faster and showing them sooner. Also your movement is smoother and more responsive. When I'm on my desktop I have 60fps always and I do not get hit by a single ability on titan (besides stomp of coarse), and when I'm on my laptop I can't respond to jack squat. Because everything is more choppy, slow loading and that makes it harder to play. Upping your fps does in fact make the game playable, but people (like me around noon/prime time) sees a ton of lag and I have 50mbps. So you can't say its on my end. The lag exists. There is no reason to say it doesn't when its already accepted.
I use to think it's the .3 delay or lag or whatever but now I can dodge just about anything. It was more because i sucked before. lol
If you live far away or you think your ISP is routing you as a p2p then I recommend battleping. It's really helped me out in the coil.

Stop defending bad net code.
There's a reason why instant abilities are lagged, movement of other players is throttled constantly, and AoE is hard to dodge.
It's called net code -- not bad ping. Net code is how the client and the server communicate and is incredibly complex.
Good net code will mitigate perceived disconnect between client and server (e.g. LAG.) There's a reason why people can play world of warcraft with 250-350 ping and have it feel responsive. Their net code is constantly being reviewed, revised, and updated according to the newest coding techniques available.

If it was that bad then everyone would be having problems, these people who can't dodge are isolated experiences.Stop defending bad net code.

Is the 0.3s delay in position update too long? Yes. That doesn't make it "bad code", they can just go in and change it.
The fact they haven't would indicate that their current system can't handle it well, which is indeed, bad netcode.
