Returning player?

I am one of the people who played for a month then decided to wait till things got better.

Well. I am currently not playing any MMO's and things look like they are shaping up here so I want to return.

My question is. Do the servers have a decent population still? Or is there a server I should join that has a decent population. I have no problem starting over (The server I played on started with a B). The character I have is like level 20 and 10 at a few other jobs and I had a few professions not much really.

I am going to assume that if I start back up I will have to solo, am I right? And is there at least a population on the high end of things?

I was honestly really hoping they would release a new server. But.. I doubt that will happen so I am ready to jump in. Thanks for reading and thanks for any feedback.

Selbina, Besaid, Palamecia, and Wutai I believe have good populations. I'm on Selbina and I can tell you there are shout groups for parties and what not on the weekends especially with a good populations always on around leve reset time (which sucks for some of us who would like to do behest now haha) But gridania and Limsa are still less populated lately on Selbina I've seen a lot more people in those areas those not sure if they're new or something.

populations are still down from launch, but ive seen new players lately on trabia. if you start over it wouldnt be a big deal. you can get to 20 in about a day and a half. just do leves and behests and you should be set. if you do get in a pt make sure after the leve is activated check and see (touch the crystal) if you can "Perform a Leve Link" these dramatically increase SP. The server my character is on is Bodhum. I might just download and install the game and see how it is on the server. And if I cannot manager, take a shot on one of the mentioned servers.

Part of me wanted to wait to the PS3 Release (because I am sure at that time at least one new server would come out). But... No reason not to enjoy it now, if I can.
