    I would expect your character to be a scrub at the start of the games storyline. Sorry but you don't just become a superstar overnight.

    im rank 50 and im still a scrub, thats just how npc and lore behave, what about that last main quest you got to do. im carefull not to spoil the story for those who didnt do it here. but i was disapointed how i was a nobody in that fight

    R50 is not the final cap. You ARE still a scrub/noob/etc. in the game world as you haven't done anything legendary. What do you expect, Oblivion style where from the beginning you're destined to be uber pwnt everybody loves you and expects you to be a l33t hero?

    Sorry but you gotta work your way to hero status, and R50 is only about halfway to the final level cap from what we can tell by the mobs in the game.

    FFXI followed the same trend for the most part. You were a nobody who had nothing better to do, and even after stopping the plot of two zilart bothers, fighting a twilight god, and doing your nation storyline, you were still a nobody who had nothing better to do. TAU kind of had recognition from several NPCs, but aside from that you're just a random adventurer to everyone else.

    * The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.

    beside you cant be a superstar over other players in a MMO, its irrational but against the lore i think you shoud be
