I don't really understand this thread? Is it a thread asking how the rest of us heal in which case the same as you. Either you dps or you stand there like a potato. On the other hand if this is a thread to show off your very first video then well done keep it up.

Sorry sorry! what I ment by making this thread was, ya to show off my dumb video (hehe I was bored) but I wanted to hopefully plant a seed to have something to look forward to at work tomorrow and to invite links of others doing amazing stuff with their healers, like tanking the last guy in Brayflox! you know. My video isn't anything special I know, but I kinda wanted to see if other had thought of lulzy ways of playing, like pulling a horde of mobs and still healing them all like the amazing healer they are. I wanted it to be kinda a "haha look what I can do!" thread lol so that I (we) can see it and be like "oh man I want to try that!"

In short, like lets say you tanked the last boss in AK and you had a vid of it! I would love to see it! I guess I should have kinda known better haha, if it isn't a thread to insult or defame people no one is interested, I should have known better. Sorry for posting >_<

The following has been coined....The Yakkity Manuever.

The first boss of Cutter's Cry (Princess) can be a bit of pain. But as a White Mage over level 35 you have the ability to trivialize the fight.
All it takes is for you to be utterly insane.

Start the fight normally, When the princess gets ready to summon her adds, drop regens on everyone in the party whether they are damaged or not.

"But wait! that's the LAST thing you should do, you'll get instant agro from all the mobs spawning!"

And that's the point!

The Tank at this point is going to pull the marshall and the dps are going to kill it and then all of them move back to the boss. This leaves you with about a dozen angry ants ready to eat your face. So do the smart thing.

Run like you stole something.

Keep casting regen on the tank (and the DPS if you can spare the mana). Do not stop running. Run around the inner circle of the boss room but as far from the tank and DPS as you can. The mobs will keep chasing you and any additional adds will join in.

Bonus points are awarded if you can play the Chase music from the Benny Hill show.

Completely possible, but every group I've ever run into act like they've never heard of this.

Maybe they're just being polite? "D'awwww, that's adorable, the kitty thinks he came up with an all new idea!"

On that same note I have a little something I do for Demon Wall on Scholar. Works pretty well for PUGs or DF groups who can kill after 2nd repel but before / not long after 3rd.

Just before 2nd repel (you just finished dodging Mid Side Mid Side, and everyone is now in Mid for Repel): Pop Rouse, Fey Illumination, then Eos will use Whispering Dawn. As soon as Repel's cast bar finishes, Place Eos somewhere along the right edge and give her Sustain/Eye if possible.

What'll happen is the gnats will beeline right for her, and their AoE will be well out of range of anyone on the left side. Their AoE tends to coincide with when you would dodge left anyways, so all the better. This allows everyone else to focus on wall. If the fight drags on past 3rd repel she will probably take too much damage to keep afloat (or you'll pull hate from trying), so this is a bit more reliant on the rest of your party. That said this works flawlessly in 9/10 DF AKs I do typically.

There are other places you can do "Fairytank". Just have to get creative. Can even try this to a very limited extent on Garuda HM sisters.

I did this today...totally by accident! Ha! (only my second time in CC) It worked really well.....I mean I did have to run like I stole a LOT of things, from a very angry man....but it worked. Ejected a Medica when the next wave of adds came.....it was awesome.....just wish I had the Benny Hill music.....
