Increased server lag lately?

Is it just me or has server lag increased dramatically over the past few days despite the claims by Yoshi that there has been some decline in the daily concurrent connections?

Has a recent maintenance/patch (server transfers?) contributed to a lag increase server side? Its hard to tell when I ask in shout and everyone remains mute while the ingame network status (send/receive) is borderline useless.

I'm about 98% positive it isn't on my end. I ping 24ms to what I guess is the Montreal Datacenter? Ip I found from another thread on this forum for it was 184.107.107.176.

And according to netstat the server I'm directly connected to is 199.91.189.20 and I'm getting a ping of about 45ms

I thought I was having the same problem last week, but I restarted my modem and computer, and everything seems to be back to normal.

Yeah lately this past week I have found the lag to be worse but I don't know if that lag is because I'm from Australia, but last week the lag was really bad I had to stop playing since I was just un able to kill Garuda with out it lagging to much, but I'm going to log in, in abit to see if the lag is any better, sorry to here you having some lag problems hope it gets better soon.

I have especially on weekends was unbearable doing Titan HM for a friend last weekend. I even restarted everything and the lag was still terrible. We passed it for him but after that I spent the entire weekend crafting cause the lag was just to unbearable for raiding. Its a good thing we finished coil and myth cap previously.
