World Maintenance Suggestion

This is just an idea for the possibility of allowing users to play on their characters for the duration that their world is undergoing maintenance. Is it possible for the duty finder to be available for these worlds? Since duties have a cross-realm feature, I am curious to whether or not it is possible to allow users to enter their characters on a world under maintenance into the duty finder without ever actually entering their native world. Since the duty finder is on a separate realm, there should be no reason for the regular worlds to be available. After the duty, those who entered this way would simply be returned to the character selection screen. It all makes sense to me so why not?

This wouldn't work and this is why... Servers hold information and direct information... When you log into the server thats where all your account information is held... When you go into an instance the server reaches out to another server that puts you in that instance... When they do maintenance they are basically shutting the door that accesses the server where your information is held... An easier way of thinking about it is to think about it as a box that you put all your stuff in... As long as the box is open you can get your stuff out, but when the box is closed your not able to access your stuff... When they are doing maintenance they closed the box so you can't get your stuff... Servers go down for a limited time and although it is inconvenient for some people it is not worth the effort of redirecting to another server to continue game play... Changing computer code sometimes cause more problems then it helps...
