What piece should I buy next?

I just bought my AF2 gloves because I didn't really want the pants, because I'd have to swap over 1-2 accessories + use food to get over the hit cap for twintania. Basically I just want to get as good stat gain in one area, without losing too many stats elsewhere. I was thinking the Ring to replace my toxote's, but obviously I'd have to get more accuracy to get over the hitcap elsewhere (which would probably mean more expensive food, or something else). I also have the allagan bracers - was just using the darklight ones during twintania to get over the hit cap easier.

Any ideas? It's annoying because a lot of the 'offpieces' for bard (i.e. boots, belt) that drop in Coil do NOT have accuracy on them. It makes it even worse that the Allagan Chest I have has no accuracy :/

FTR I currently have 315 myths, and can get another 90 this week.

EDIT: With all my allagan gear on, I have 466 accuracy unbuffed.

Pants is the best upgrade you'll ever have in AF2, well aside from the ring ofcourse, but since you insist on using your allagan drops, there's nothing much to upgrade really until you realize that you're losing if you don't switch out your Allagan accessories.

oh wait, no. sheesh, you're gonna be low on ACC no matter what you do. maybe pray for a ring drop? I think it drops on turn 4?

Yeah I was pretty sure pants were an amazing upgrade, but I just couldn't stomach the accuracy loss. I would have broken even on stats overall (or at least very close) if I just got the pants, and switched my accessories back to darklight. Granted that the allagan accessories have SS on them which is trash, the DEX & crit were hard to pass up. I think I'll just get the ring as well, get some better food, and see how I go with pieces in the next few weeks.

BRD ring drop is T5 afaik, so are the legs - both of which are good (ring moreso!) Makes me sad that almost all the bard armor pieces 1-4 have no acc on them :/

If you're worried about accuracy invest in two Gryphonskin rings to round you out so you can go ahead and get the pants without any regrets. Yes, I know 2 stars cost 18 animal fats a piece and are quite a grind but really those rings are as good as you're going to find until you're at the point of replacing your Allagan aiming gear.

I'm hurting for accuracy as well, 439 with all my ilvl 90 pieces on. Since the myth belt, pants, ring are all BiS, you'll have to get them eventually. I'd go for the ring then pants. If you get the boots to drop, you can always switch back to DL chest or go back to the DL accessories as need be.

Myth earrings and bracelet are cheap upgrades that will get you a lot of accuracy if need be as well.

You should change your cuirass for the Bard's Shirt... you will you will get 24 acc and +10crit but lose de SS. Is not place for the Allagan armor for a Bard :S (in my opinion I will get pants and bard head)
