The game does have a lot of content, but the problem is that it can be burned at such a rapid pace. There are not many roadblocks, or challenges that require time to overcome. That's the games biggest issue really.

I'd say i'm bored with 80% of the game. I basically log on monday to get 200 myth then log on for raid days and that's about it.

I'm a little bored on monday/tuesday after doing coil 1 - 4 and capping Myths.
Though its mainly because there are some players who only log in to do these then you don't see them for the rest of the week.
I'm currently doing 1 level a day for all the gathering classes. Building up my bank, learning what people want/need for the HQ crafts, learning CUL and slowly upping that as I gain the mats from BTN. Main SCH and have BLM at 50 nearly with full Darklight from farming stones. (Though thats pretty boring lol)
I think I need to learn more about crafting tbh. I don't have a clue and I've never been a big crafter, which is sad imo.![]()
The problem is that without "infinite content" there WILL be time when u will get maxed out. By "infinite content" i mean different kinds of player competition other than being "first", like pvp (fortunately on 2.1) or content with scoreboards like fastest clear, longest survival, most enemies defeated.
Even if are not maxed on all jobs, the week mostly ends after doing all coil turns that u can and caping myths. With full dl there is no point in more grinding.
Levelling another class might be fun, but constant fate grinding gets tedious fast. Levelling by running "one instance a day" looks somehow fun, but really viable only as tank or healer.
There is something worse. When u get new class to max lvl, u would want to start grinding gear for it. But if u dont already have great gear, almost no one will want to party with u! So that leaves gearing SECONDARY job with ur MAIN job. And this way u dont play that new job at all. So u can only farm with ur new job when it does not need it anymore!
That leaves crafting, gathering and money making, but poor profit without personal housing.
Not bored, I would be "bored" if I did nothing but FATEs ( I don't like FATEs as they are personally), I have a lot of fun with Dungeons/Levequests/Hunting Logs. They get the job done just as good, and I don't have to torture myself!

I'm already super bored of these types of threads can't you come up with some more content in these types of threads I mean I keep having to raiding these threads for troll coins so I can get my cool relic thread armor.
Today I wanted to gain a few more levels in Alchemy. I needed a few more levels in botany and miner to get some mats, so I started by doing that. Then I came to a recipe that needed cotton thread. So I switched to my weaver and played catch up with that. However, I realized I didn't have enough leather for my 6-10 recipes, and needed Hard Leather for one of them. So I switched over to Leatherworker which was plenty high enough to make the mats I needed. Went back to weaver to make my way to cotton thread, and finally back to Alchemist to gain the levels I initially wanted to gain.
Nope, sorry. Not bored.

Me too. I didn't rush to 50 DoW/M, in fact I have 3 lvl 50's from 1.0 that I haven't even done the Class Quests for. Instead I leveled Arcanist to 30 doing the Main Story Quests on it, got SMN & SCH, then decided I need some nice HQ Melded gear and have been working on all my Crafts since.Today I wanted to gain a few more levels in Alchemy. I actually enjoy the Crafting/Gathering more than the Battle Classes but I'll get back into it eventually and I still have plenty of Story to go too. And based on alot of the complaining I'm really in no hurry to get to "End Game".
Papa was a rolling stone...wherever he laid his barbut was home.
Not sure if I'm bored of the game, but I play for like 4 hours per week now. Fantastic game, just nothing to actually do in it. Log on tuesday, do turn 1-4, cap my myths in garuda(2-3 hours to do this) then play my 3ds/pokemon for the rest of the week. I've been playing my 3ds/pokemon for the past 3 weeks now, much more enjoyable than this game and a ton more fun, end game in pokemon is a lot more fun than this game, with lots more to do, somehow. Next week my coil group attempts turn5 so maybe I'll play for 6 more hours that week(1 night for turn 1 - > 4, 2 nights of 3x2 on turn 5), but that still isn't much to do.
Game is seriously lacking reasons to get me to log on and want to play. Everything is too fast/easy to get, content patches are taking waaay too long, too much repetitive content at 50, too much time spent on the 1-49 leveling process that's only done ONCE, maybe twice per person, then completely ignored at the level cap. They should've spent all that time on level50 content instead of content that people do 1-2 times, and the content people have to spam only being like 3 dungeons and a single raid. Not a very smart design decision, especially for a game that the producer, Yoshi-P, literally stated "starts at the level cap".
Oh? Then why is the level cap the place with the least amount of content?
I wish I was bored. That would mean I've spent way too long on the game. Alas, work and social obligations limit me to spending only 3-6hrs every weekday, and varied (but usually longer) hours on weekends. In short, no, I'm not bored of the overall game.
