I made a report about a Tank in my same server pug group for AK who made very derogatory comments about homosexuals, and SE has yet to do anything about it. I'm wondering if they even check the reports in general. But yes the tank made it very clear that DPS are a dime a dozen and can be easily replaced along with those comments.

Honestly I want both sides to stfu and just play the game. Elitists will never get perfection, and non-elitists will never let anyone stop hearing the end of it. I'm sure somewhere in this 10 page thread I skimmed, someone blamed the devs, and another blamed communism.

which to sensitive people could be anything from making a joke to criticizing their method of play

i once had someone throw a fit over the ahriman glitching in dzemael darkhold, blaming it on us impatient dps. you can run right by the thing into a corner, it is not a big deal. i told them that normally people dont manage to facepull the entire room and that is why we wiped, not because an ahriman that was out of los was stuck in a doorway spamming an ae that couldn't hit us. Then they got upset, called me toxic and RQ LOL.

I'm sorry but when I'm doing WP or AK for the 100th time, I have no interest in a subpar party. I have a group that I usually run with, but sometimes we're down a specific role and I look for very specific people to fill that role in shout so I don't have to tolerate being in a dungeon longer than I have to be. If you're a melee, undergeared or a scholar then have no interest in running with you. If you don't at least have a relic, then I also have no interest in running with you. If you're a WHM that doesn't DPS when needed, then I won't be running with you again. If you asked me a couple weeks ago before I was burnt out on the dungeon grinding in this game, I would of had no issues helping you run through AK. I'm already doing a chore by running these dungeons, don't impose your non-elitist ideals on me because I have standards and expectations of what I want out of my dungeon party. If I wanted to deal with a 45 minute run, I'd be in the DF tool.

Look, if you say something offensive to anyone, regardless of who they are your probably gonna catch some backlash.
You can say something to me no matter where I am in the game I don't really care I won't wtich hunt you.

But if your rude, or very negative, I'm probably going to avoid you.
IF you rush into things and waste people's time, don't even research fights
or just generally do dumb things, I'll probably also avoid you.

But I'm not gonna blacklist you, or exclude you from a group if I feel you can handle the task at hand.

My only issue in the game and in general is with people who hold grudges. Rub them the wrong way once and they'll never forget it and won't let you forget it either. Nobody likes someone with a chip on their shoulder.

I had a tank who used a macro to announce which target he was attacking. Seeing so much blue text resulted in me tuning out of what was being posted, but after a while a whisper caught my eye and above that was a wall of "Attack Carrier Ziz!" "Attack Dravnian Outfitter!" "Attack Ice Sprite!" etc. Realizing how pointless this was I asked the tank if he could remove the party spam from his macros. No response, so I tried to blacklist him but it didn't work. I grumbled vocally about not being able to blacklist party members, he asks who do I hate so much I want to blacklist so I responded the guy who uses a macro spamming which target he was attacking. He explodes into a wall of insults against me calling me all manner of names, insulting me in 3rd person, and argued his reasons for using the macro was so that bad dps would know which target to fight. He still failed to understand that I was only referring to the chat log spam even when another party member pointed it out to him.
