Sinith this is the part where you say: I called out someone's gear being subpar for their motivation for disagreeing with something and I was wrong. I claimed they did not make parties and I was wrong there too! It is okay to be wrong, but when you are wrong don't cling to it. You made a personal attack on me citing my armor and gear was my motivations for enjoying normal WP runs suggesting I make my own parties when I have as many as I want.

I never assumed your gear was sub-par. I never assumed your gear was below the requirements you were complaining about. I only stated that it is selfish and over-entitled to ask people to reduce their personal standards to be more in line with your own. If you think it is ridiculous to ask for relic +1 for runs which do not require high-end gear, you are entitled to that opinion. However, you step over the line when you ask others to conform to your own personal standard. People can do as they wish, asking for more than what is required is their perogative, and has nothing to do with you.

So if someone's standards are higher than your own they must lower their standards just for you? That is even more selfish than setting unrealistic standards. If you don't like their standards, join another group. If you don't meet the criteria to do speed runs, then either don't do them, or level up a class / obtain gear required to do speed runs. Yes, I was calling him out. Because his opinion is that they should change their standards because they are, in his opinion, too high. However, I never said that his gear was sub-par or anything to that effect.

I don't see what the problem is with asking. Not demanding. And if said group says no thanks, that should be the end. But there is nothing wrong with asking to tag along with anything. Assuming you are geared enough in the first place. ie no AF in coil plz, etc.

Ya, that is totally fine. However, his original statement was that if he sees someone calling for standards above his own, he is going to ask them to lower theirs (to more fit his own). This is selfish and wrong. It is the same mentality of "I don't like this TV program so I'm going to write a letter to the station and ask them to stop playing it" as opposed to changing the channel.

Then what is the point of it being a MMO and not a single player game? The whole point of an MMO is to play with strangers and friends alike. I think you're looking for a traditional RPG.
