So in other words your argument is: "Stop liking what I don't like?"Actually I am Relic +1, full Dark Light SMN, Moogle Staff + DL Black Mage, as well as Relic almost Full DL Dragon Knight.
I tend to shout and make the group for coils or just plain duty find when doing easy content like WP reaching cap every Monday for Myth. My WAR rocks the Titan axe and is full AK gear as well as my PLD (Dark Light is to ugly to wear) and my SCH and WHM is just the same. My gear is not the issue. I am well geared for any content I choose to enter I can speed run with the best of them (and when I do it is not shouting for a party). It is still stupid to shout for gear to carry you through easy content.
Edit: I have relic top for my smn and next week I'll have the relic pants.
In other words when you assume things about people, you make a <blank> out of you and me.
Sinith this is the part where you say: I called out someone's gear being subpar for their motivation for disagreeing with something and I was wrong. I claimed they did not make parties and I was wrong there too! It is okay to be wrong, but when you are wrong don't cling to it. You made a personal attack on me citing my armor and gear was my motivations for enjoying normal WP runs suggesting I make my own parties when I have as many as I want.
I am about to help 6-12 year olds have a safe fun party tonight. They can admit when they make a mistake about others and apologize. Can you?
I never assumed your gear was sub-par. I never assumed your gear was below the requirements you were complaining about. I only stated that it is selfish and over-entitled to ask people to reduce their personal standards to be more in line with your own. If you think it is ridiculous to ask for relic +1 for runs which do not require high-end gear, you are entitled to that opinion. However, you step over the line when you ask others to conform to your own personal standard. People can do as they wish, asking for more than what is required is their perogative, and has nothing to do with you.Sinith this is the part where you say: I called out someone's gear being subpar for their motivation for disagreeing with something and I was wrong. I have no problem with admitting when I make mistakes, and I will when I do.
Your accusation that I called your gear into question is absolutely false and I challenge you to provide an example of it. If anything, I deserve the apology for your false accusations.

So you did not say someone standards were higher than mine they have to lower it just for me? That it was selfish and unrealistic, that should join other groups or level up another class and obtain the gear needed for speed runs and me opposing such was over-entitled socialist dribble? You did not suggest I start my own groups either? So if someone's standards are higher than your own they must lower their standards just for you? That is even more selfish than setting unrealistic standards. If you don't like their standards, join another group. If you don't meet the criteria to do speed runs, then either don't do them, or level up a class / obtain gear required to do speed runs. Asking them to lower their standards is just more over-entitled socialist dribble.
Heaven forbid you start your own groups for content you wish to run.
I apologize I was wrong clearly someone logged in and posted as you.

You are upset about people asking for Relic +1 to run WP. I said that it is their perogative to have any standard they wish. If you don't meet their standards you can start your own group, raise yourself to their standards, or ignore them. But asking that they lower their standards simply because you don't agree with them is wrong, and it is over-entitled socialist dribble. So you did not say someone standards were higher than mine they have to lower it just for me? Please let me know how my proposed alternatives to asking people to lower their standards made an assertion about your gear level... or are you just assuming?
When you bolded you, it sounded like you were calling him out specifically....You are upset about people asking for Relic +1 to run WP. Yes, I was calling him out. Because his opinion is that they should change their standards because they are, in his opinion, too high. However, I never said that his gear was sub-par or anything to that effect.
My point is, it is wrong to ask people to change their standards simply because they don't match up with your own.
And this is why your personal story should never take you in to forced grouping, Dungeons should be optional only.
