Honestly, I get more crap from the anti-elitist crowd than I do from the elitist crowd.

Every time I shout for a PUG to fill a group, I give a set of requirements. Queue that white knight that thinks I overshot the requirements and am being a "toxic element in the community".

For people that go on and on about how people shouldn't force their playstyle on others, they sure do complain a lot. Unlike them, I'm not forcing my playstyle on anyone. If you don't match with me, you don't come. Pretty easy, right?

If you want to personally make a group that outgears wherever it is you want to go then that is your prerogative. It doesn't affect me. Now if you hit the DF and demand quad melded Allagan (or whatever is the highest possible gear) to do AK and if we don't have it we should promptly drop group and delete both our accounts and our lives. Then there will be issues.

DF is just that, a random assortment of possibly level synced people. There is no gear guarantee and people need to take that into consideration before pressing that Join button.

Because while it is nice to have a relic +1, full Myth armor set for WP: It is not needed. So if I see someone shouting for 10-20 minutes: Running WP have a Relic +1, all Allagan armor, and I will do a gear check I am going to say: Dude its a level 50 quest meant to be done in AF. Not so serious please.

So if someone's standards are higher than your own they must lower their standards just for you? That is even more selfish than setting unrealistic standards. If you don't like their standards, join another group. If you don't meet the criteria to do speed runs, then either don't do them, or level up a class / obtain gear required to do speed runs. Asking them to lower their standards is just more over-entitled socialist dribble.

Actually I am Relic +1, full Dark Light SMN, Moogle Staff + DL Black Mage, as well as Relic almost Full DL Dragon Knight.

I tend to shout and make the group for coils or just plain duty find when doing easy content like WP reaching cap every Monday for Myth. My WAR rocks the Titan axe and is full AK gear as well as my PLD (Dark Light is to ugly to wear) and my SCH and WHM is just the same. My gear is not the issue. I am well geared for any content I choose to enter I can speed run with the best of them (and when I do it is not shouting for a party). It is still stupid to shout for gear to carry you through easy content.

Edit: I have relic top for my smn and next week I'll have the relic pants.

In other words when you assume things about people, you make a <blank> out of you and me.

Sinith this is the part where you say: I called out someone's gear being subpar for their motivation for disagreeing with something and I was wrong. I claimed they did not make parties and I was wrong there too! It is okay to be wrong, but when you are wrong don't cling to it. You made a personal attack on me citing my armor and gear was my motivations for enjoying normal WP runs suggesting I make my own parties when I have as many as I want.

I am about to help 6-12 year olds have a safe fun party tonight. They can admit when they make a mistake about others and apologize. Can you?
