Issues with Garuda - Howling Eye (Normal & Hard Modes)

Its happened to me once on normal but now I'm seeing it happened much more during the Gardua Hard.

After she spawn the tornados, she then teleports to spawn her minions and vanishes from my screen. I can see the other players attacking something, I can see the minions; I can't see her or target her but she can hit me. Also the minion's tethers don't show up as well. They show for as split second after spawning and disappear with Garuda.

This has happened about 40% of the runs I've done on Garuda and I always die when this happens because I can't see whats going on. Its rather frustrating.

The biggest issue is that the Garuda hard mode battle is called "The Howing Eye" in the duty finder.

I mean, not to diminish the importance of what you're stating OP, because that is indeed an issue as well, but seriously. I can barely bring my finger to click on "The Howing Eye" because I'm afraid I'll be besieged by a floating, evil eye that keeps asking me how to do things and that, one day, it will drive me insane. HOOOOW?! HOOOOOOOOOOW?!

What are your system specs?

I have heard others having similar issues, not necessarily with Garuda, mostly in fates, and it usually turns out to be on a system at or below the recommended system requirements.

1024 GB 5400rpm Hard Drive - 256 GB Solid-State Drive

The game and OS is installed on the SSD. I don't have any problems with fates. The 'missing' monsters and lag issues seems to occur in Dungeons. I haven't had much issue with the home server side. I've turned down the game graphics since the Oct15 patch (switch off shadows, blur, ect..).

I reported this issue a week back under the bug forum, one day after that it got moved to the "accepted bugs" forum. So SE are aware of it most likely and will hopefully fix it soon.

I have been having this issue as well, she disappears at different points in the fight for me, always when she jumps and then she does not display. She shows up on hate list still but I am unable to target her. Many times after she jumps again she will then re-appear on the screen and I can target her again.

This happened with several different party setups over the course of 4-5 hour of trying last night and has happened to me several times previously. While it suxs to see I am not the only one experiencing this issue I am very hopefull there will be a fix for it.

fwiw I haven't had this happen on my pc, but it happens on my ps3 a lot. So ya, may not be comp spec related.

This actually happened recently to a FC mate of mine.

It was her story quest we did.

When she jumped tot he North side, she kept asking where Garuda was. We told her she was on the tank.

"She isn't on my screen. Tried targeting her through tank, nothing."

But she kept getting hit through the entire battle.

We wiped because our other DPS, her, could not target Garuda at all.

So yeah. I can confirm this happens.

It happens way too often. You might be able to avoid it if you are looking away from the point where she reappears, that has worked for me a few times. Might just be luck and a invisible-free-garuda fight those times. But we just have to hope it gets fixed asap.

I'm just not sure why SE are so slow with fixing stuff, lag, stuttering etc etc. BF4 got released last week, it was stuttery, laggy and horrible at start for alot of players, including myself. Then some patches and most things are working perfectly when it comes to lag and graphics. And regarding the rest of the small bugs, atleast DICE/EA communicates with their players. They even added more server power to fix the lag issues that occured. It shouldnt be any different in SEs case, infact it should be straight up better since we pay monthly for this. I still suffer from stuttering in certain zones and I doubt something will be done.
